The short version
This site has no visitor accounts. We collect standard analytics, click counts on page links, and — only if you sign up for a creator's newsletter — your email address. You can ask us to delete any of it.
What we collect
Server and security logs. Like almost every website, our servers and Cloudflare (our CDN) record requests: IP address, browser type, and the page requested. We use these to keep the site running and to investigate abuse. They are rotated out on a regular schedule.
Analytics — only if you say yes. We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to see how the site is used in aggregate. Google's scripts do not load and no analytics cookies are set unless you accept the cookie banner. If you decline, or never answer, nothing is sent to Google. You can change your choice any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Link clicks. When you click a link on a creator's page, the click goes through our redirect so the creator can see how many people clicked each link. We store the count and basic request information, not a profile of you.
Newsletter signups. If you enter your email in a creator's newsletter box, we store that address so the creator you subscribed to can contact you. It is not shared with other creators and is not used by SmutCore for its own marketing.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal data. We don't run third-party ad trackers. We don't put personal data in URLs.
Where data lives
Page content, click counts, and newsletter signups are stored in our database (hosted on Supabase). Analytics data, when you've allowed it, is held by Google under their own privacy policy. Your cookie choice itself is stored in a single first-party cookie (bs_consent) that holds only the word "granted" or "denied".
The main SmutCore social network has its own privacy policy covering accounts there.
Removal and questions
To have a newsletter signup deleted, a page about you removed, or to ask anything else about your data, use the SmutCore contact form. Include the page or email address involved so we can find it.
