Reporting copyright infringement
SmutCore Bio Studio hosts links and page content posted by creators. If you believe a page here infringes your copyright, send us a takedown notice through the SmutCore contact form and we will act on valid notices promptly.
What a valid notice needs
To process your notice under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512), include:
- The URL of the Bio Studio page containing the infringing material.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed, and proof you own it or represent the owner.
- Your name and a way to reach you (email at minimum).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice through the same contact form with the same identification details, a statement under penalty of perjury explaining the mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you are located.
Repeat infringers
Pages belonging to creators who repeatedly infringe copyright are unpublished and their SmutCore accounts may be terminated.
Other removal requests
Not every removal request is a copyright claim. If an unclaimed page describes you and you simply want it gone, you don't need any of the above — just contact us from an address or account we can reasonably connect to the page, and we'll remove it.
